Advocacy and Awareness-Raising

American Women's Association of Hong Kong is a voluntary organisation of international women, supporting Hong Kong charities and schools through community service and monetary grants, while also providing educational and social activities for members.

Association for the Advancement of Feminism has been working since 1984 to eliminate discrimination against women, to fight for full opportunities in social participation and equality for both sexes. 

Her Fund's main objective is to raise funds and give grants to support work by women, with women and for women in Hong Kong. They also try to raise awareness of women's position and rights in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Women Christian Council will use the funds to fight for social justice and women's rights, to develop and promote feminist theology and to stand together with the marginalised community.

The Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres provides and promotes services which empower women and advocates for women's rights.

Business and Leadership Development

The Hong Kong Association of Business and Professional Women is an NGO of working women who have actively promoted the interests of business and professional women in Hong Kong and supported equal rights legislation since 1979.

Hong Kong Women Development Association working since 1996 to strengthen confidence, self-esteem, independence and self-enhancement among women, and works for the rights of women and children. 19 organisational members and over 40,000 individual members.

Hong Kong Women in Publishing Society's objectives are to promote the status of women in all areas of publishing, encourage communication and mutual support among women in publishing and work toward equality of opportunity and advancement for all women in publishing.

Hong Kong Women Workers' Association promotes women workers' interests and status and advocates for policies and resources on their behalf.

Libbler is a professional development company dedicated to helping individuals reach their maximum potential and successfully navigate their career paths. 

Women Business Owners' Club is dedicated to encouraging, assisting and inspiring small business owners.

Women Media Networks is a non-profit organisation providing members with professional support, leadership development & networking opportunities across the Asia Pacific region.

Economic Empowerment and Livelihood

Harmony House
 provides protection, caring and empowerment of women and children who are victims of domestic violence, counsels batterers in order to stop the cycle of violence, and provides public awareness to promote family harmony.

Investor Education Centre (IEC) provides comprehensive, credible and impartial financial information, tools and education resources to the general public with the aim of improving financial literacy in Hong Kong.  There is a “Life Events and You” section in the IEC website providing users with personalised resources to meet their financial needs in different life stages and events.

Oxfam Hong Kong is an independent development and relief agency based in Hong Kong. They work with poor people regardless of race, sex, religion or politics in their struggle against poverty, distress and suffering. 

Pathfinders supports and empowers distressed migrant women, who are pregnant or have Hong Kong born children, to make informed life decisions and find a dignified path home. 

SoulTalk is a local charitable foundation that works with women in emotional and relationship crisis.

The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong advocates and promotes reproduction and sexual health and provides related information, education and services for individuals, families and the community

Treats brings together children, youth and families - from varying backgrounds and with differing abilities – to promote integration and develop personal and social skills.

Zi Teng is a group of social workers, labor activists, researchers, church workers and others who conduct research, social education and outreach on behalf of sex workers in Hong Kong and China.

Government Organisations

Equal Opportunities Commission
 is a Hong Kong statutory body committed to promoting diversity and equality, fostering an inclusive society in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. 

The Women's Commission was established by the HK government as a central mechanism to promote the well-being and interest of women in Hong Kong.


Women Coalition of HKSAR
 is a group of women who love women / tongzhi movement supporters / feminists, strive to contribute for the local female Tongzhi culture, history and education.
