The Women’s foundation supports and funds research that focus on issues grounded in the foundation’s mission and history:
Advance TWF’s mission which promotes the full participation of women and girls in all aspects of Hong Kong society by building resources to support change
Address one of the TWF’s program areas:
Empower girls with skills to become economically self-reliant, successful leaders of the future.
WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP
Increase women's roles in decision-making processes.
WOMEN IN POVERTY
Create pathways to long-term financial independence and economic security.
Address TWF’s strategic goals:
Build expertise in women's issues by using research to understand their root causes
Develop long-term programs that will bring about positive and measurable change for women’s economic self-reliance
Identify initiatives where local NGOs, businesses, government and academics can work on mutually shared issues
Bridge resources from the business community and individual donor base to the local NGO community
Institutionalise funding by securing long-term commitment from corporations and individuals
To be considered, proposed projects should:
+Be new, innovative, and add meaningfully to the body of knowledge
+Be sustainable without relying on or having secured ongoing funding
+Show potential for measurable impact and meaningful, long-lasting change
Please submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) of 1-2 pages, which include:
1) Contact info
2) Brief description of organization and researchers
3) Description of purpose of project and issues/problems it intends to address
4) Estimated project budget and time frame
If the proposed LOI is accepted, a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be extended. There is no deadline for a LOI and decisions are made on a rolling basis. Please send your LOI to Lisa Moore at firstname.lastname@example.org.
