Background: The Hong Kong Government must file its next report on Hong Kong’s compliance with CEDAW – the Convention for the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women in 2013—as part of its human rights review convened with the United Nations High Commissioner of Human RightsAs part of the Hong Kong Government’s CEDAW submission, NGOs may submit shadow reports to the pre-sessional working group and may be invited to attend in person to brief the working group. 

Synopsis: TWF will be submitting its own shadow report in collaboration with subject experts in 2014.  Details forthcoming.
