[Mentoring Programme 2012-2013] Networking Breakfast featuring talk by Judy Vas

On Tuesday, November 20, The Women’s Foundation’s Mentoring Programme held their third Ice-Breaker event for the current cycle, a Networking Breakfast featuring a talk by Judy Vas, Managing Director, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance at Goldman Sachs. Introductory remarks were offered by Hayden Majajas, the Mentoring Programme’s Steering Committee Co-Chair.

Bloomberg generously hosted the event at their Auditorium in the Cheung Kong Centre, where breakfast was available to 70 mentors and protégés. Judy kindly shared her personal experiences, including the challenges she faced both personally and professionally. Amongst other things, she discussed how she successfully navigated her radical career changes as well as the importance of health and well-being. A lively Q&A session ensued with protégés and mentors alike posing questions to Judy and sharing some of the challenges they had faced along their careers.

We would like to thank Judy and Bloomberg for their part in making this such a successful event.
