About The Women’s Foundation

The Women’s Foundation is a Hong Kong registered not for profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong. Through its published research on the ‘Status of Women and Girls in Hong Kong 2006’ and ‘Closing the Gender Gap in Hong Kong: Conversations with the Community’, the Foundation has identified women’s economic self reliance as a critical issue for Hong Kong. To this end, TWF programs are focused on challenging gender stereotypes, increasing the number of women in decision-making and leadership roles, and providing financial literacy and entrepreneurship opportunities to low income women. # # #
