The Power and Potential of Women’s Leadership in Hong Kong February 28, 2007

The Women’s Foundation convened forty female leaders who have reached the very top of their field in a cross-section of Hong Kong’s public and private sectors. The keynote speaker was Laura Liswood, Senior Advisor to Goldman Sachs, co-founder of The White House Project (dedicated to electing a woman president in the U.S.), and Secretary General of The Council of Women World Leaders (composed of women presidents, prime ministers, and heads of government) and long time advocate for women across the globe. A one-hour dialogue among participants was facilitated by Christine Loh, Founder and CEO of Civic Exchange and TWF Board of Advisors member. The women leaders shared recommendations for concrete strategies to achieve more equitable representation in decision-making at all levels in Hong Kong.
