The Women's Foundation Leadership Awards 2009

The Women’s Foundation (TWF), a registered Hong Kong charity founded in 2004, promotes the full participation of women and girls in all aspects of Hong Kong society. To recognize outstanding leaders in Hong Kong, TWF has already presented the Inaugural Leadership Awards in five categories in 2008. While around 400 secondary schools are already invited to nominate a Female Student Leader, we now take great pleasure to announce the call for public nomination of the Leadership Awards 2009 in the other four categories:

- Philanthropy Leader Award

- Social Change Leader Award

- Political Leader Award

- Research Leader Award

We welcome nominations from individuals and organizations. If you would like to see leaders who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and raised awareness on women and girls’ issues in the community being recognized, please send your nominations to us.

Please submit the nomination form together with supporting documents to The Women’s Foundation on or before Monday, 2 February 2009.

The award ceremony will take place during The Women’s Foundation Leadership Event at 7:00pm on Friday, 6 March 2009 at The Helena May.
