Launch Reception and Photo Exhibition, March 3, 2005

Over 250 people from the business, government and NGOs sectors helped us launch The Women's Foundation on March 3, 2005. Collaboration took center stage with our first public event. Nineteen local NGOs and organizations participated in a photo exhibition and auction, "A Celebration of Women & Girls in Hong Kong." A team of five City University interns and twenty sponsors helped produce the event. Our keynote speaker was Christine Loh, CEO of Civic Exchange, an independent, Hong Kong-based public policy think tank.

Many thanks to Reuters and the South China Morning Post, whose donated photos enabled us to raise more funds and added grace and beauty to the exhibition.
