Established in 2004, The Women's Foundation (registered charity number 91/6962) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong through research, community programmes, and education and advocacy. Through our research, the Foundation has identified women's economic self-reliance as an urgent issue for Hong Kong. To this end, our three key focus areas are challenging gender stereotypes, increasing the number of women in decision-making and leadership positions, and empowering women in poverty to achieve a better quality of life for themselves and their families.
